Job Summary

The General Manager will oversee the day-to-day operations of our community associations, ensuring seamless management and exceptional customer service. This role requires a strong leader who can manage multiple priorities, build strong relationships, and drive results.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage Board of Directors (BOD) and Homeowner relations
  • Attend community meetings, including committee meetings
  • Train and foster team building among employees
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs and inspections
  • Oversee Association fiscal management, including budgeting and financial reporting
  • Develop and implement annual budgets and manage monthly expenses
  • Ensure compliance with preventative maintenance procedures and policies
  • Establish and maintain building Emergency Guidelines
  • Coordinate move-in/move-out activities and vendor relations
  • Process violations and manage special projects
  • Authorize payment of invoices and manage bid processes
  • Stay up-to-date on legislation affecting HOAs and educate Board members
  • Responsible for annual meeting/election process and maintain compliance with laws and regulations
  • Utilize company support staff to accomplish daily tasks
  • Attend training classes as required and be available on-call for after-hours emergencies

Requirements

  • High School Diploma required; Bachelor's Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • 5-7 years' experience in Property Operations and/or Hospitality; or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • CMCA, AMS, and/or PCAM Accreditation from CAI preferred

Skills and Qualifications

  • Strong customer service, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Highly organized, people-oriented individual
  • Able to work under tight deadlines and use time effectively
  • Coaching and training abilities
  • Understanding of Accounting principles
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite

Language Requirements

  • English is required
  • Multiple language fluency is desirable

Travel and Availability Requirements

  • Required to travel to multiple on-site locations as needed
  • Ability to work extended hours and weekends based on project requirements
