Senior Communications Manager

Franklin Street is seeking a highly skilled Senior Communications Manager to join our team in Austin, TX. As a key member of our Corporate Marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing marketing communications strategies and programs that drive business results.
Key Responsibilities:- Develop and maintain relationships with key media outlets and journalists to secure media coverage for the company and its business lines.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive external communications strategy that supports the company's overall goals and objectives.
- Manage the company's social media accounts and create content for online channels.
- Draft and edit press releases, articles, and other written materials for publication.
- Identify and secure awards and recognition that highlight Franklin Street's brand and promote expanded business opportunities.
- Collaborate with multiple business lines to ensure alignment of messaging and branding.
- Manage the company's website and ensure it is up-to-date and engaging for visitors.
- Manage the communications budget and allocate resources effectively.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in communications or marketing, preferably in the commercial real estate industry.
- High level of proficiency in computer skills, including MS Office applications and content management systems.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with experience in drafting press releases, articles, and other written materials for publication.
- Experience managing social media accounts and creating content for online channels.
- Strong project management skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
- Knowledge of industry trends and best practices in communications and marketing.
- Experience managing a budget and allocating resources effectively.
