Position Overview:
The Customer Service Representative serves as the vital communication link among customers, sales, and production teams. This role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries through various channels, including phone, email, and in-person interactions. The representative is responsible for resolving both routine and complex customer issues with precision and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver outstanding customer service through multiple communication methods to address and resolve inquiries.
- Evaluate customer service needs and liaise with relevant departments for further assistance as required.
- Ensure accurate submission of order details according to customer specifications.
- Maintain up-to-date and precise order entry information in all necessary software applications.
- Foster strong relationships with customer accounts through proactive and transparent communication.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned.
Qualifications:
- Proficient in MS Office Suite, Outlook, and Internet applications.
- Strong analytical, prioritization, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- Solid understanding of mathematical concepts.
- Able to build and maintain collaborative relationships with colleagues and clients.
- Capable of working independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated with a keen attention to detail and deadlines.
- Willingness to work overtime as necessary.
Work Environment:
This role requires regular standing, walking, sitting, and effective communication. Occasional lifting of up to 10 pounds may be necessary. Reasonable accommodations can be made to enable individuals to perform essential functions.
