Enrollment Coordinator

Atlanta International School (AIS) is a leading educational institution that offers the International Baccalaureate (IB) continuum to students from 3K to grade 12. Our rigorous academic programs foster critical thinking, creativity, and problem-solving skills in a diverse, multicultural community.
Job PurposeThis role is responsible for supporting the Director of Admissions in managing the enrollment process, ensuring a seamless experience for prospective students and their families. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities- Initial contact with prospective parents to provide relevant information and support during the inquiry stage
- Tracking and management of applicant files in collaboration with Enrollment Managers
- Reviewing and processing applications for enrollment, ensuring timely and accurate decision-making
- Coordinating and leading shadow days for prospective students, showcasing the school's academic programs and community
- Assisting in screening sessions for applicants, evaluating their suitability for admission
- Leading the student ambassador program and school tours, promoting the school's values and mission
- Supporting the planning, organization, and implementation of Admission events and activities, ensuring a positive experience for attendees
- Representing the school at fairs and events, disseminating information to prospective parents and other interested parties
- Maintaining confidentiality regarding all applications and student records, adhering to AIS's data protection policies
- Performing other duties as assigned by the Director of Enrollment Management, contributing to the school's overall mission and goals
- A college degree or equivalent experience, with a strong background in education or a related field
- Familiarity with spreadsheets, databases, and common office software applications, with the ability to learn new systems quickly
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- High energy and attention to detail, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Availability to work some weekends supporting recruitment and admissions events, with a flexible approach to work arrangements
- Fluency in Spanish, German, French, or Chinese is a plus, but not required
