Benefits Coordinator Job Description

As a Benefits Coordinator with Integrity Staffing Solutions, you will play a vital role in managing team member benefits, ensuring accurate administration, compliance with regulations, and providing assistance to team members with inquiries and enrollment processes.

This is a direct placement role with our client, offering a hybrid work arrangement with three days in the office and remote work from your professional home office.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the maintenance and administration of team member benefits and files.
  • Manage benefits enrollments, terminations, beneficiary changes, and Qualified Medical Child Support Orders (QMCSO).
  • Compose and send benefits-related letters.
  • Monitor QMSCO, terminated in error, STD, and other reports as needed.
  • Communicate with carriers and team members receiving benefits to notify them of changes in coverage and to resolve problems.
  • Provide directions, support, and advice to team members regarding their benefits.
  • Administer and monitor the Annual Open Enrollment Process.
  • Other job duties as needed.

Requirements:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
  • 2 or more years of experience in benefits administration and HRIS documentation.
  • Bilingual in Spanish.
  • Efficient in Word, Excel, Outlook, and the use of the internet.
  • Knowledge of ERISA, HIPAA, COBRA, FMLA, ACA, and other applicable regulations.
