Civil Engineering Project Leader

SOLTESZ is experiencing significant growth and is in search of pivotal managers to ensure the delivery of exceptional professional services to our Clients. The Project Manager role is essential for overseeing a diverse portfolio of civil/site land development design initiatives, focusing on Client relations, project financials, profitability, and overall Client satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Client relationships and oversee project execution.
  • Develop and prepare proposals tailored to Client needs.
  • Deliver outstanding and responsive service to Clients.
  • Maintain project timelines, budgets, and invoicing processes.
  • Leverage your team's technical skills to support Clients in achieving their development objectives.
  • Represent Clients during critical project milestones, including public presentations and hearings.
  • Engage in business development and marketing efforts for the firm.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and professional development for staff.
  • Supervise staff, ensuring quality control of civil/site designs, and manage workload and resource allocation.
  • Evaluate employee performance, offering regular feedback and recognition.
  • Collaborate with the senior leadership team to meet company objectives.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering.
  • Professional Engineer (PE) registration in Maryland is mandatory.
  • A minimum of 10-12 years of progressive experience in civil engineering land development design, ideally within the Southern Maryland region.
  • At least 5 years of experience managing civil/site design for land development projects.
  • 5+ years of experience leading design teams.
  • Strong organizational and delegation capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proven experience in cultivating and enhancing Client relationships while delivering high-quality service.
