Senior Account Executive for Political Advocacy and Government

The Political Advocacy and Government team at Univision is seeking a highly experienced Senior Account Executive to join our East Coast team. This role will be responsible for generating political, advocacy, and government advertising revenue across our television, radio, and digital platforms.
About YouThis seasoned media professional will work closely with our agency partners, rep firms, and station management teams to position Univision as a leader in providing voter insights and deep coverage of Hispanic voters.
Your Day-to-Day- Maintain and grow existing accounts while cultivating and growing new client relationships to drive multiplatform sales.
- Manage business plans, pipelines, business reports, and revenue projections with attention to detail to achieve monthly and annual sales goals.
- Oversee the pitch, orders, commercial traffic instructions, custom partnerships, digital proof of performance, recaps, invoices, collections, and other aspects of clients' strategy and campaign execution in accordance with company guidelines.
- Work closely with all station management and departments to ensure the Political Advocacy and Government team is best represented internally and externally.
- Bachelor's Degree in business or related field (or High School Diploma/GED and 9 years of comparable experience).
- Minimum of 5 years media sales experience with a proven history of meeting and exceeding sales goals and driving YOY growth.
- Deep understanding of the political and advocacy marketplace with a focus on television, radio, and digital platforms.
- Excellent networking ability and strong list of East Coast contacts and relationships with leading political agencies, consultants, and partisan stakeholders.
- Proficient with PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and Word.
- Exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills and the ability to translate ideas into clear, high-impact communications.
- Experience closing medium to large size deals: $50K and above.
- Dynamic personality with ability to work well with others in a team environment.
- Good interpersonal and organizational skills as well as ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Drive and passion to succeed in a fast-paced sales environment.
- Fluency in Spanish (read and write) is a plus, but not required.
- Demonstrated experience in digital advertising and ability to work and sell in a fast-paced, changing environment.
- Must be located on the East Coast.
- Employment/education will be verified.
- Must have unrestricted authorization to work in the United States.
- Time flexibility required to interact with people in different geographical locations, and work extended hours, sometimes on short notice due to the political nature of business.
- Ability to travel nationwide to attend client meetings, conferences, seminars, and industry events.
