Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Infeed Material Operator Lead to join our team at Pactiv Evergreen in Bedford Park, IL. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading the department shift in a safe and efficient manner, training new Infeed Operators, and ensuring all required paperwork is complete.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform all In Feed Operator functions
  • Lead the department shift in a safe and efficient manner
  • Train new Infeed Operators on operating, maintaining, and cleaning blending systems
  • Operate and troubleshoot all material blending systems
  • Ensure all required paperwork is complete
  • Write work orders for items in need of repair
  • Effectively communicate with supervisor, process technicians, operators, and maintenance staff on issues
  • Follow company safety procedures and policies
  • Participate in continuous improvement sessions dealing with material blending systems and associated equipment and procedures
Requirements
  • Must currently be an Operator or In Feed Operator
  • Must have good mechanical aptitude and the ability to understand how equipment works
  • Must have a safety-oriented attitude and the ability to work safely
  • Must be able to work in a team environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate within all levels of employees within the organization
