Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Account Executive to join our Casualty practice. The successful candidate will be responsible for servicing a growing book of business, building relationships with clients, and maintaining a high level of responsiveness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Compare coverages and policy language for placement of new and renewal business
  • Underwrite new business and existing renewals to determine carrier acceptability and competitive pricing
  • Review submissions and provide decisions on which markets to access for various types of coverage, rates, and prepares quotes
  • Prepare complex insurance submissions for brokerage markets
  • Develop new and existing agent/client relationships to gather feedback
  • Attend company events to strengthen relationships with carriers
Requirements
  • Prior experience supporting Casualty Brokerage Practice and/or Retail Agency experience
  • Professional negotiation, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and multi-task with a sense of urgency
  • Demonstrate proper judgment and decision-making skills
  • Capable of marketing, quoting, and binding of all Commercial Lines risks
  • Strong Organizational and Time Management Skills
