About the Role:
The Associate Director, Enterprise Risk Management will report to the VP, Enterprise Transformation Projects. As the Associate Director, you will lead the organization's risk management initiatives, conducting project-based risk assessments and managing the enterprise risk assessment process to identify, evaluate, and mitigate risks across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement risk management strategies to mitigate risks across the organization.
- Conduct risk assessments for specific projects, initiatives, and business processes, monitoring and reporting on the status of risk mitigation activities.
- Collaborate with project teams to identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies, working with business units and subject matter experts to develop and implement risk mitigation plans.
- Continuously improve the enterprise risk management program to enhance the company's risk posture.
- Identify and implement best practices and emerging trends in risk management, developing and delivering risk management training and awareness programs for employees.
- Prepare and present risk assessment reports to senior management and the board of directors.
- Maintain documentation of risk assessments, mitigation plans, and risk management activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Risk Management, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Professional certifications such as Certified Risk Management Professional (CRMP), Certified Risk Manager (CRM), or similar.
- Minimum of 10 years related professional experience, to include at least 5 years of experience in risk management, with a focus on enterprise risk management.
- Proven experience in conducting risk assessments and developing risk mitigation strategies.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, familiarity with risk management software and tools a plus.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and adapt to a fast-paced and changing environment.
- Leadership experience with a demonstrated ability to manage and develop a team.
