Job Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement clear, measurable objectives that align with business and organizational goals.
  • Lead a team responsible for program management, governance, performance reporting, compliance, resource planning, and IT planning functions.
  • Support the lifecycle of complex programs, including project-level planning, standards optimization, and delivery management.
  • Implement and manage PMO initiatives that impact all IT processes.
  • Lead problem-solving efforts and deliver high-quality results that support business needs.
  • Negotiate conflicts and resolve issues through influence.
  • Provide leadership and motivation to team members, ensuring they have the resources and skills needed to support projects.
  • Ensure compliance with standards, regulations, and governance processes.
  • Act as chair for the IT project governance gate review committee.
  • Support company-wide training and communication of IT project methodology governance processes.
  • Portfolio and project governance: Ensure the department's portfolio of client projects is properly assigned to governance analysts.
  • Coordinate with governance analysts to prepare gate review materials for IT Integrated Governance meetings.
  • Standardize program management practices, governance, procedures, and policies.
  • Ensure processes and tools are in place to monitor and measure performance.
  • Work with IT and enterprise leadership to establish key performance metrics for IT.
  • Maintain monthly metrics dashboards and reports aligned with enterprise, CIO, and IT organization requirements.

Qualifications:

  • B.A./B.S. degree in Business, Computer Science, or Engineering, or equivalent work experience in a related field.
  • 5 years of experience leading successful direct reports and/or matrix program management teams.

Annual starting salary: $130,000 - $210,000.

Compensation factors: geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
