Role of Nuclear Manufacturing

Nuclear Manufacturing is dedicated to producing time-sensitive radiopharmaceuticals within a highly regulated framework (including FDA, NRC, DOT) to aid in patient care through disease diagnosis, staging, and monitoring.

Compensation:
$1,500 New Hire Sign-On Bonus

Work Schedule:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Flexibility is required to work any 8-hour shift between 8 PM and 4 AM, with weekend rotations and holiday shifts based on customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Complete comprehensive training, including e-learning and hands-on components, to ensure proficiency.
2. Manufacture radioactive isotopes, including synthesis setup and hot cell manipulations.
3. Conduct quality control testing for each batch using various analytical instruments.
4. Operate in an ISO 7 cleanroom to produce product and customer vials for pharmaceutical use.
5. Perform environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5, ISO 7, and ISO 8 settings.
6. Coordinate daily production schedules based on pharmacy and customer requirements.
7. Maintain strong documentation practices and perform clerical tasks, including record-keeping and report preparation.
8. Manage SAP Inventory, including receiving and inspecting materials.
9. Execute daily radiation safety tasks and maintain cleanliness in the lab.

Qualifications:

- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred, with a background in Sciences (Chemistry, Biology, etc.) being advantageous.
- 0-1 years of relevant experience preferred, with lab experience being highly desirable.
- Must be able to work overnight shifts as the facility operates during these hours.
- Previous experience in manufacturing, particularly in regulated environments, is preferred.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English are essential.
- Ability to follow detailed processing instructions consistently.
- Capable of managing multiple tasks simultaneously and exercising sound judgment.
- Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds as necessary.
- Manual dexterity for equipment operation and handling small objects is required.
- Must be an effective team player.

Expectations:

- Apply fundamental skills and techniques to complete routine tasks within the assigned area.
- Maintain necessary licenses, training, and certifications.
- Work on basic assignments within defined Standard Operating Procedures and scientific methods.
- Adhere to quality guidelines and work under close supervision, with all work subject to review for accuracy.

Compensation:
$25.00 per hour
