The position of Energy and Rebate Specialist will be based out of our Hartford, CT locationSummary
The Energy and Rebate Specialist is responsible for assisting Outside sales to grow sales and promote the company's products to potential customers. Responsible for understanding the features and benefits of the products, providing product knowledge, and addressing customer inquiries. The Energy and Rebate Specialist goal is to build strong relationships with sales team and customers, identify their needs, and recommend the most suitable products to meet those needs.
What You'll Do
- Proactively identify and pursue product rebate opportunities by coordinating with the sales team, and customers, via phone calls, emails, and meetings.
- Develop, and deliver, customer rebate report to ensure full transparency of all value collected
- Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing exceptional service and support. Understand customers product needs as you work with the sales team
- Present proposals to all levels of leadership and technical audiences
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers
- Participate in product meetings, seminars, and training schools to enhance and maintain personal and product knowledge
- Assist branches and customers with product, technical support, and training
- May analyze market potential, develop an annual business plan based on market conditions, and lead execution with local technical, sales, and management team
- Report to the Rebate Team Manager with updates, or questions, about utility rebate programs and customers
- Attend utility rebate program trainings regularly to help identify additional customer opportunities
- Other duties as assigned
