Job Summary:

The EMS Operations Manager will be responsible for leading and managing the operations team, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and providing leadership and guidance to staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in EMS operations, excellent communication and leadership skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the operations team, including supervising and evaluating staff performance.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to staff, including training and development opportunities.
  • Collaborate with regional managers and other stakeholders to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and productivity.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of company assets.
  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting of operational data and metrics.
Requirements:
  • Current state EMT licensing and certification.
  • Knowledge of EMS policies and procedures, as well as regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage budgets and resources.
Physical Requirements:
  • Good physical fitness with the ability to function effectively in all different types of environments.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy, bulky items, equipment, materials, supplies, and people weighing up to 250lbs in unpredictable weather conditions in various environments.
Additional Duties:
  • Ensure the operation site is compliant with all policies, procedures, and standards as outlined by the city, state, federal, and Lynx EMS regulations.
  • Verify all EPCR reports have been submitted and signed off for billing.
  • Submit reports on all incidents, accidents, and work-related injuries and exposures.
