Operating Room Manager

Mass General Brigham is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Manager to lead our team of nurses and healthcare professionals in providing exceptional patient care in the Operating Room.
Job Summary:The Operating Room Manager will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing clinical and program development within the OR to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of Mass General Brigham. This includes overseeing professional nursing practice, planning, management, and operation of surgical services to ensure quality patient care for patients in various age groups.
Responsibilities:- Oversee professional nursing practice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Plan, manage, and operate surgical services to ensure quality patient care
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement clinical and program development initiatives
- Ensure the practice of the Patient and Family Centered Care Model in the OR
- Assure the quality of patient care and safety in the OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Motivational, highly energetic, and fosters an environment of professional practice, teamwork, and accountability
