Job Title: Operating Room Nurse

Mass General Brigham is seeking a skilled Operating Room Nurse to join our team in Brookline, Massachusetts.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to provide high-quality patient care in our Operating Rooms. As an Operating Room Nurse, you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct patient care in the Operating Room, including pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative care.
  • Collaborate with anesthesiologists, surgeons, and other healthcare professionals to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
  • Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance patient care and safety.
Requirements:
  • Graduate of an approved school of nursing with current registration in Massachusetts.
  • 1 year of operating room experience, preferably in cardiac scrub.
  • Membership in professional organizations is recommended, and certification in a specialty area is encouraged.
  • Able to work weekend rotation per the MNA contract.
