Operating Room Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our nursing leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and implementing clinical and program development within the OR to contribute to meeting the mission and goals of our organization.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nursing leadership, with experience in managing surgical services and overseeing professional nursing practice. You will be responsible for ensuring quality patient care for patients in various age groups, including adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
In this role, you will work closely with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes, enhance the patient experience, and promote a culture of excellence within the OR.
Responsibilities- Oversee professional nursing practice and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
- Plan, organize, and implement clinical and program development within the OR
- Develop and implement strategies to improve patient outcomes and enhance the patient experience
- Collaborate with the Nursing Director and Associate Chief Nurse to develop and implement nursing policies and procedures
- Provide leadership and guidance to nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence within the OR
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing required
- Master's Degree in Nursing or a related field, or enrollment in program preferred
- Massachusetts Registered Nurse Licensure
- Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers required
- 3-5 years of progressive leadership development, management experience preferred
