About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Operating Room Nurse Manager to join our team at Mass General Brigham. As a key member of our perioperative services team, you will be responsible for providing leadership and direction to our nursing staff, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care and promoting a positive and supportive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff, including scheduling, staffing, and performance management
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and hospital standards
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination of patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of new programs and services
  • Provide education and training to nursing staff on new procedures and technologies
Requirements
  • Current/valid nursing license in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts
  • Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) required
  • Perioperative experience required with a minimum of 3 years current Operating Room experience
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • CNOR preferred
