The Senior Manager of Business Processes will oversee the comprehensive management of business processes for Emerson's Isolation Valves (ISV) Business unit on a global scale. This role is pivotal in driving the strategic direction of ISV's configurators, gathering insights from users and strategic business units (SBUs) for ongoing enhancements, and prioritizing development initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and technical leadership for the Product Configurators within the Isolation Valve Business Unit.
- Collect and prioritize user feedback to ensure continuous improvement of product configurators.
- Manage the roadmap for configurator development and enhancements.
- Facilitate the rollout of configurators across various global regions as part of the CPQ transformation.
- Lead the transition of configurator programming from Oracle Configurator Developer to Configit.
- Ensure cross-functional collaboration to support ongoing improvements for the configurators.
- Direct and prioritize the tasks of the configuration development team.
- Maintain and manage training materials and functional documentation for configurators.
The ideal candidate will possess a proactive mindset and the ability to adapt to changing circumstances. They will have a proven track record of excellence in performance and a strong inclination to explore innovative technologies that enhance organizational outcomes.
Essential Requirements:
- BA/BS degree or equivalent experience; degrees in Engineering or Information Technology are preferred.
- A minimum of 5 years of supervisory experience.
- At least 10 years of experience in developing and refining business processes in conjunction with IT solutions for a global audience.
- Familiarity with Product Configuration technologies, specifically Configit or Oracle OCD, and engineering product structures.
- Demonstrated success in managing time-sensitive issues within complex business environments.
- Ability to manage multiple projects to successful completion.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent analytical, strategic, and problem-solving abilities.
- Willingness to travel as required (up to 20%).
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Strong presentation skills at various organizational levels.
- A commitment to excellence and a reputation as a collaborative colleague.
- 2-4 years of industry experience leading business process changes.
This position offers the option for remote work up to three days a week following the initial training period. Our teams prioritize work schedules that foster creativity and efficiency in meeting customer needs.
