Job Overview

Position Summary:

As an Infrastructure Support Engineer, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and enhancing the hospital's network systems. Your responsibilities will include the design, coordination, monitoring, and troubleshooting of network operations.

Key Responsibilities:

- Provide comprehensive support for server hardware and software, including configuration, installation, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Deliver system administration and round-the-clock technical support for critical systems, including the Radiology PACS system and Internet Firewall.
- Ensure seamless remote system connectivity.
- Engage in research, testing, and implementation of innovative information systems technology.

Experience Required:

- 1-2 years of experience with Microsoft operating systems and server applications.
- Proficient understanding of TCP/IP, WINS, DNS, switching/routing, VPN, and LAN/WAN topologies.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Significant experience with VMWare (ESXi and Horizon), Veeam, MS Exchange, and Active Directory configuration and management.

Educational Background:

- Completion of a craft or technical school program lasting up to 2 years.

Essential Skills and Knowledge:

- In-depth knowledge of computer hardware and software, including troubleshooting and repair techniques, as well as networking principles.

Work Schedule:

- Monday through Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM

Additional Information:

- This position requires a commitment of 80 bi-weekly hours.
