CenterWell is in search of a committed and skilled Registered Nurse to enhance and restore the health of our patients through the nursing process, while being part of a team dedicated to exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient care needs by establishing a personal connection with patients and creating a supportive environment that addresses emotional, psychological, and spiritual needs.
  • Evaluate patients presenting with both chronic and acute conditions, collaborating closely with mid-level providers and primary care physicians.
  • In conjunction with healthcare providers, initiate appropriate treatment for common ambulatory conditions as needed.
  • Encourage patient autonomy by setting care objectives; educate patients and their families about health conditions, medications, and self-management skills; address inquiries.
  • Ensure high-quality care by adhering to established therapeutic standards; assess health outcomes against care objectives and standards; implement necessary adjustments; comply with nursing standards and regulations.
  • Address patient concerns and requirements through collaborative multidisciplinary approaches.
  • Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.

Additional Information

Required Qualifications:
  • Willingness and ability to perform or be trained in the following procedures:
    • 2 to 5 years of experience in Urgent Care
    • Starting IVs and administering IV fluids
    • Administering injections
    • Basic wound care
    • Inserting Foley catheters when appropriate
    • Delivering aerosol treatments
    • Conducting EKGs
    • Strong communication skills
    • Ability to work effectively within a healthcare team.
Education Requirements:
  • Associate's Degree or Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Nursing Diploma
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish
Working Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Scheduled for 40 hours per week

Local travel may be necessary; mileage will be reimbursed.

This position involves direct patient interaction and is part of Humana's Tuberculosis (TB) screening program. Selected candidates will undergo TB screening.
