Position Overview: The Business Intelligence Platform Administrator is tasked with the implementation, upkeep, surveillance, and enhancement of our corporate business intelligence frameworks.

This role requires close collaboration with business stakeholders and IT personnel to create robust and scalable BI and data delivery infrastructures.

Key Responsibilities: Our team operates the software that drives our business. Within the data platform division, we establish and maintain systems that deliver essential data to those who require it.


  • Facilitate platforms that uphold architectural integrity and ensure high availability
  • Acquire knowledge of business processes across departments such as Sales, Finance, and HR to effectively address their requirements
  • Integrate new systems and applications into existing frameworks
  • Initiate and participate in network and application security assessments
  • Enhance each platform by devising and executing improved processes
  • Construct sophisticated logical models while making them accessible to users in an intuitive manner
  • Support end users during upgrade testing phases
  • Educate super users and power users on the effective use of tools
  • Coordinate development tasks with offshore team members and other stakeholders
  • Conduct ongoing monitoring and refinement of tools and systems
  • Collaborate with the business solutions delivery team to ensure that solutions are user-friendly

Collaboration and Teamwork:
Work alongside multi-functional IT teams.
Required Skills:
Data Platforms, BI Data Platform Administration, Power BI, Data Architecture, Data Modeling, Power BI Development.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should possess extensive experience with various systems and technologies.

Our primary focus is on business intelligence tools such as Power BI and Tableau, along with a range of other applications and operating systems including Collibra, Alteryx, Metric Insights, and SQL Server.


  • Proven experience as a system administrator for BI tools
  • Previous experience in implementing Power BI solutions
  • Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows operating systems
  • BA/BS degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field; Data Scientist experience is preferred
  • Familiarity with R, Python, Jupyter, or similar tools is advantageous
  • 5 to 7 years of IT experience with a comprehensive understanding of SDLC methodology
  • Solid understanding of relational databases with demonstrated SQL experience
  • Strong grasp of data warehousing methodologies and dimensional modeling
  • Experience in writing flex custom components such as charting is a plus
  • Participation in JAD/RAD/AGILE/Waterfall scrum sessions is a plus
  • Ability to swiftly translate requirements into actionable tasks
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office applications including Word, MS Project, Excel, Visio, and other tools that aid in the requirements gathering and design phases of the SDLC
  • A passion for problem-solving, innovation, and creativity
  • Self-driven with strong leadership qualities and presence
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
