Job Summary

UMPhysicians is seeking a highly skilled EEG Monitoring Technician to join our team. As an EEG Monitoring Technician, you will play a critical role in assisting EEG Technologists and communicating with providers and nursing staff regarding patient observations and safety concerns.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor EEG recordings and video, maintaining electrode recording quality and documenting evoked responses from patients.
  • Operate equipment to record electrical activity of the brain during procedures.
  • Supervise patient respiration, heart, and brain activity during procedures.
  • Assist other team members with preparation of patients, patient rooms, and equipment for EEG procedures.
  • Ensure availability and accurate function of supplies and equipment.
  • Clean, replenish, and maintain instruments and supplies as needed.
Requirements
  • BLS Certification
  • Ability to work evening, overnight, and weekend shifts as determined by department needs
  • Ability to work at multiple job sites as determined by department needs
