Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled EEG Technologist to join our team at UMPhysicians. As a key member of our neurodiagnostic team, you will be responsible for performing electroencephalogram tests, collecting and interpreting data, and collaborating with physicians to provide high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients and equipment for EEG procedures
  • Operate equipment to record electrical activity of the brain during procedures
  • Monitor patient respiration, heart, and brain activity during procedures
  • Record evoked responses from patients and prepare readings for interpretation by physicians
  • Participate in the evaluation of new equipment or supplies and assist with cleaning of procedure rooms
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited EEG or polysomnography training program
  • BLS certification
  • Ability to work evening and weekend shifts and at multiple job sites as determined by department needs
