Executive Chef Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and well-rounded Sous Chef/Kitchen Roundsman to join our culinary team at Long Cove Club. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional hospitality through culinary expertise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in all aspects of food preparation, maintaining high standards of quality and presentation.
- Work multiple stations, including sauté, grill, banquets, and à la carte lunch service.
- Train and guide fellow kitchen staff, fostering a collaborative team environment.
- Ensure kitchen cleanliness, organization, and safety.
Requirements:
- 3-5 years of relevant culinary experience preferred.
- Proven experience working multiple stations in a high-volume kitchen.
- Positive attitude, team-oriented approach, and willingness to lead by example.
- Able to see well enough to read faint or partially obscured writing or printing, with corrective lenses if needed.
- Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English to interact with members and staff.
- Position involves sitting, standing, stooping, kneeling, pushing, shoving, lifting, carrying, and moving objects weighing up to 50 lbs. This movement can occur throughout the day. Must also be able to climb several flights of stairs if necessary.
Long Cove Club Benefits:

Full-time team members are eligible for phenomenal benefits starting on the 1st of the month following 60 days, including medical, dental, and vision insurance at competitive rates. Our paid time off package includes vacation and sick/personal time accruing after 90 days, with 128 hours of vacation and sick/personal time per year, as well as 6 paid holidays.
