Job Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Foreman to oversee the installation of protective structures for gas meter sets in residential and industrial settings. This role is crucial in ensuring that our projects are executed efficiently and safely.

Key Responsibilities

The Foreman will be responsible for:

  • Submitting and managing 811 tickets for all installation locations, ensuring proper site marking.
  • Training and equipping crews to perform their tasks effectively.
  • Communicating project progress to the Project Manager and clients.
  • Maintaining inventory of supplies and ensuring availability for crews.
  • Responding promptly to customer inquiries and requests.
  • Assisting in achieving production targets as set by the Project Manager.
Qualifications

Ideal candidates will possess:

  • Experience in construction.
  • Previous supervisory experience is preferred.
  • A willingness to travel, including overnight stays, with daily travel up to 150 miles.
  • A valid Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • The ability to lift up to 80 pounds.
  • A readiness to work extended hours, up to 12 hours a day.
Compensation

The position offers a competitive pay rate of $26.00 per hour based on experience, along with a daily per diem of $30.00. For overnight stays, a per diem of $125.00 will be provided for accommodation costs.

Work Schedule

Expect a schedule of 10 hours a day, 4 days a week, with opportunities for overtime.
