Position Overview: The Accounting Intern plays a vital role in assisting with the daily financial operations of the organization, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality in all transactions. This position supports the Controller and contributes to the overall efficiency of the accounting department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily Cash Management: Record cash disbursements in the bank account on a daily basis.
  • Transaction Verification: Ensure the accuracy of accounting transactions by verifying and rectifying transaction details, preparing and scheduling transactions, and posting to ledgers and journals while obtaining necessary authorizations.
  • Account Reconciliation: Prepare and maintain regular updates of account reconciliations to ensure financial accuracy.
  • WIP Aging Review: Lead the monthly reviews of Work In Progress (WIP) aging processes to monitor financial health.
  • Additional Duties: Perform other related tasks as assigned to support the accounting team.
