Key Responsibilities:

As a Logistics Specialist in Brokerage, your position will be essential and varied in our daily operations. Your primary duties will encompass:

  • Customer Profile Management: Regularly update customer profiles and enter load information from customer tenders into our Freight Optimizer system.
  • Communication Hub: Keep account managers informed about any issues with loads and actions taken, while also updating receivers and customers on load statuses.
  • Delivery Oversight: Supervise daily pick-ups and deliveries, ensuring all loads arrive punctually and in pristine condition.
  • Driver Coordination: Conduct check calls with drivers to ensure timely delivery, and verify load data for accuracy before marking loads as delivered.
  • Issue Resolution: Investigate and document any product overages, shortages, or damages.
  • Scheduling: Arrange and modify delivery appointments, making decisions on accepting or declining loads based on account manager guidance.
  • Routing Assistance: Provide comprehensive routing instructions to drivers for optimal delivery paths.


Qualifications for Success:

Essential Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 1 year in logistics.
  • Industry Knowledge: A foundational understanding of the transportation sector.

Preferred Skills:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Communication: Proficiency in drafting routine reports and correspondence.
  • Problem-Solving: Capability to apply common sense and understanding to execute instructions provided in various formats (written, verbal, or diagram form).

Compensation Details: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour
