The Director of Environmental Services at Baxter Regional Medical Center provides leadership and supervision to the Environmental Services and Laundry teams. This role is responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations, as well as organizational guidelines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assign, oversee, and inspect the work quality and activities of assigned personnel.
  • Ensure compliance with all state and federal regulations and organizational guidelines.
  • Promote and uphold the organization's mission, vision, purpose, and values.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of four years' experience in the environmental services field, either in a hospital or institutional setting.
  • Previous supervisory experience preferred.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree.

Work Environment:

Office setting within a hospital environment.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a position in a hospital setting which is open 24 hours a day, 365 days a year.

Office staff: 5 days a week, Monday – Friday 8 hour shifts.

Will be required to work during emergencies and inclement weather and provide 24/7 on-call coverage.
