Job Title: Assistant Customer Experience Manager

Job Summary:

Weis Markets, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Customer Experience Manager to join our team. As a key member of our front-end operations team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, leading by example, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner

• Lead by example, demonstrating a positive and customer-focused attitude in all interactions

• Assist the Customer Experience Manager in overseeing front-end operations, including cash handling, security measures, and customer service

• Enforce company policies and procedures related to front-end operations, including cash handling control and security measures

• Supervise and train customer experience associates, providing guidance and support to ensure a positive shopping experience for customers

• Utilize the auto-scheduler system to update front-end associate availabilities, headcounts, and schedules to meet weekly business demands

• Control supply costs while ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet business demands

• Direct the flow of customers through the front-end, ensuring efficient and effective service

• Maintain functionality of equipment, hardware, and software, reporting any issues requiring further resolution

• Communicate all information to cashiers regarding special promotions and sale items, generating sales through suggestive selling

• Maintain knowledge of weekly ads, marketing promotions, and store layout to answer customer questions

• Ensure smooth function of department and store by cooperating with co-workers and superiors, continuously improving job performance

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred

• 1-2 years of experience in customer service or a related field

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple responsibilities

• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds and stand for long periods

• Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends
