Parking Enforcement Specialist

As a Parking Enforcement Agent with the City of Columbia, you will play a vital role in maintaining safe and organized parking throughout the city.

This is a full-time position that requires the ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and handle stressful situations with professionalism.

The estimated salary for this position is $54,137 per year based on 40 hours of work per week at $16.54 per hour.

You will be responsible for patrolling assigned routes to issue parking tickets, conducting security checks in parking garages, immobilizing or coordinating the towing of vehicles as needed, and providing credible testimony in court.

The ideal candidate will possess strong verbal and written communication skills, be proficient in Microsoft Office, and have knowledge of local and state parking laws and ordinances.

In addition to the base salary, employees may also receive benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
