MISSION:

The HomeCare Service Technician plays a crucial role in supporting our HomeCare team by executing warranty services, home maintenance tasks, service requests, and select projects to cultivate Raving Fan Clients and ensure a consistent flow of references and referrals.

  • Serve as a primary point of accountability and communication, advocating for clients and assisting them in safeguarding their investment.
  • Develop and maintain Raving Fan Clients and a continuous stream of references and referrals.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Collaborate with the Director of HomeCare to manage daily warranty, maintenance, and service requests, ensuring client investments are protected.
  • Perform a variety of home maintenance tasks to maintain control over scheduling, quality, and cleanliness, including but not limited to: drywall repairs, paint touch-ups, caulking, wood replacement, light carpentry, filter changes, appliance servicing, hardware installation, basic plumbing, and general handyman duties.
  • When necessary, coordinate with vetted specialty subcontractors to assist with warranty, maintenance, and service requests that exceed in-house capabilities.
  • Prioritize client care by understanding their needs and collaborating with the Director of HomeCare to document these requirements.
  • Lead small-scale select projects, which may include minor remodeling tasks.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Proficient in carpentry and basic repair skills, including light demolition, framing, window and door installation, waterproofing, drywall repair, caulking, painting, and basic plumbing.
  • Physically capable of performing demanding tasks, including lifting up to 100 lbs and working on ladders.
  • Possess a valid Driver's License and maintain insurability.
  • Pass a background check.
  • Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work consistently throughout the year.
  • Ability to work in various environments, including extreme heat.
  • Maintain a positive demeanor with clients and team members, even under pressure.
