Position Overview
We are excited to announce an opening for a faculty role within the Department of Psychological Sciences at the Stamford Campus of the University of Connecticut. This is a full-time, non-tenure track position aimed at enhancing our educational offerings.

Campus Environment
The Stamford Campus is strategically located in a vibrant urban area, providing students with numerous opportunities for internships and career advancement. Our campus serves a diverse student body, including a significant number of first-generation college students, and offers a variety of undergraduate programs.

Role Responsibilities
The selected candidate will:
1. Teach seven undergraduate courses annually.
2. Collaborate with the Psychological Sciences Undergraduate Advising Office to support a caseload of advisees.
3. Engage in departmental, local, or university-wide service activities as desired.

Candidate Profile
We are seeking individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to effective teaching and innovative instructional methods. Candidates with expertise in Clinical Psychology and Cognitive Psychology are particularly encouraged to apply. The successful applicant will also:

Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
- A Ph.D. in Psychology or a related discipline.
- Proven excellence in teaching.
- Experience or willingness to teach research methodologies.

Preferred Qualifications:
- Ability to contribute to a diverse learning experience in psychology.
- Experience in advising or mentoring undergraduate students.
- Evidence of ongoing research activity or engagement in the scholarship of teaching and learning.

Employment Terms
This position is a full-time, 9-month appointment that may lead to long-term contracts based on performance and institutional needs. Salary will be commensurate with qualifications and experience.
