Connecticut Children's is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Professional to join our team as a Clinical Psychologist. Key Responsibilities- Clinical Services: Provide direct clinical services to patients and families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Consultation and Collaboration: Consult with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medical and psychological care, and collaborate with community agencies and mental health care providers to facilitate comprehensive services.
- Education and Training: Supervise graduate psychology practicum students, pre-doctoral interns, and postdoctoral fellows, and teach medical students and pediatric residents.
- Research and Quality Improvement: Participate in clinical research activities, including quality improvement initiatives, to advance the field of pediatric psychology.
- Education: Doctoral degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/School Psychology/Counseling Psychology, with completion of an APA-approved internship and postdoctoral fellowship or one year of supervised experience in a treatment setting for children and adolescents.
- Licensure: Licensure by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health as a Psychologist, and CPR certification within 60 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.
