Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide a full range of clinical services to our patients and their families, including consultation, individual, group, and family therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical services to patients and families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medical and psychological care.
  • Participate in clinical research activities, including quality improvement initiatives.
  • Supervise and train graduate psychology practicum students, pre-doctoral interns, and postdoctoral fellows.
Requirements
  • Doctoral degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/School Psychology/Counseling Psychology required, plus completion of an APA-approved internship and postdoctoral fellowship or one year of supervised experience in a treatment setting for children and adolescents.
  • Licensure by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health as a Psychologist.
  • CPR certification required within 60 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
  • Knowledge of child development, child psychopathology, and behavioral principles.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
