We are seeking a highly skilled Licensed Psychologist to join our team at Connecticut Children's. As a key member of our interdisciplinary treatment team, you will provide a full range of clinical services to our patients and their families, including consultation, individual, group, and family therapy.
Key Responsibilities- Provide clinical services to patients and families, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize medical and psychological care.
- Participate in clinical research activities, including quality improvement initiatives.
- Supervise and train graduate psychology practicum students, pre-doctoral interns, and postdoctoral fellows.
- Doctoral degree in Psychology/Clinical Psychology/School Psychology/Counseling Psychology required, plus completion of an APA-approved internship and postdoctoral fellowship or one year of supervised experience in a treatment setting for children and adolescents.
- Licensure by the Connecticut State Department of Public Health as a Psychologist.
- CPR certification required within 60 days of hire and renewed every 2 years.
- Experience working with children and adolescents in a clinical setting.
- Knowledge of child development, child psychopathology, and behavioral principles.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
