The Mobile Medication Specialist is a critical member of our care team, responsible for providing in-home support to individuals under the supervision of our Mobile Medication Nursing Staff. This role requires a high level of expertise in medication management, as well as strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Key Responsibilities- Provide in-home support to assigned individuals, ensuring their physical and behavioral health needs are met.
- Administer medications as prescribed, monitoring for any adverse reactions or side effects.
- Collaborate with the treatment team to develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans.
- Provide training and education to individuals on health and hygiene practices, infection control procedures, and signs and symptoms of illness.
- Maintain accurate records of medication administration and treatment progress.
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 1 year experience in a healthcare setting, preferably with a focus on mental health.
- Strong knowledge of psychotropic medications and their potential side effects.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
