Job Summary:

The Registered Nurse is responsible for providing and managing nursing care for an assigned specific population of patients and families to achieve stated clinical and organizational outcomes. This role involves using the nursing process in the care of patients/families, including education along the care continuum. The Registered Nurse collaborates with other members of the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely, efficient, and effective care that responds to the individual needs of the patient/family.

Key Responsibilities:

Directs and oversees care provided by assistive personnel through delegation, evaluation, and coordination to ensure patient/family needs are met.

Responsible for meeting and maintaining established patient/family care and professional practice standards.

Collaborates with other healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized care plans that address the unique needs of each patient.

Provides education and support to patients and families to promote health and wellness, and to empower them to take an active role in their care.

Participates in quality improvement initiatives to identify areas for improvement and implement changes that enhance patient care and outcomes.

Work Schedule:

Shift: 12 and/or 8 hour shifts (candidate preference)

Hours Per Week: 36 - 40
