Job Overview

At Washington Hospital, we seek an experienced and skilled Patient Placement Coordinator to join our PRN Nursing Float team.

Compensation Package: The estimated annual salary for this role is $54,000 - $64,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

As a Patient Placement Coordinator, you will be responsible for initiating and maintaining a channel of communication with patients, staff, managers, physician offices, and referral sources for the coordination of patient placement and supporting patient placement activities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Collaborating with managers and Administrative Nursing Supervisors to provide adequate staffing for immediate and ongoing needs.
  • Supporting patient placement activities to ensure a smooth transition for patients.
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
