Job Summary

A Wider Circle is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Essential Support Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will provide direct services to clients in person, on the phone, and electronically, serving as a primary point of contact and support for hundreds of families each year.

As an Essential Support Coordinator, you will oversee the client appointment process, work directly with clients, and participate in community pop-up events and other projects to serve clients in unique and creative ways.

Key responsibilities include responding to high volumes of inbound and outbound client calls, serving as a primary point of contact, and becoming knowledgeable on how to respond to various calls with high levels of customer service and empathy.

You will also input all data for appointments, calls, and other relevant interactions, ensuring every detail is clean and accurate, and document all interactions and phone calls in the client management system.

Additionally, you will communicate and collaborate with other teams to ensure smooth functioning of all client appointments, connect clients to other programs offered by A Wider Circle, and assist with guiding interns and volunteers.

This is a dynamic and fast-paced role that requires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, good verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to demonstrate compassion to a range of clients experiencing poverty and other stressors.

Requirements include an Associate's Degree in social work, human services, psychology, or a related field, and one year of experience working in customer service and/or an office environment.

Preferred qualifications include a Bachelor's Degree, two years of experience, and conversational proficiency or fluency in another language besides English.
