Job Overview

Project Redirect is seeking a skilled Direct Support Professional to join our Day Habilitation program team. As a key member of our team, you will provide person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, empowering them to achieve their personal goals and live fulfilling lives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement Individualized Support Plans to assist individuals in achieving their personal goals and meeting their needs and desires.
  • Provide choices for activities and work, promoting autonomy and independence.
  • Assist individuals with daily living tasks, including job skills, toileting, grooming, dressing, eating, medication administration, bathing, and transportation as needed.
  • Complete required documentation and assist with information gathering for Person-Centered Goals and assessments.
  • Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe environment by following safety and infection control procedures.
  • Attend scheduled staff meetings and required training sessions.
  • Integrate individuals into community job sites, promoting socialization and employment opportunities.

Requirements:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • One year's experience working with individuals with disabilities or as required by regulation.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older.
  • Valid CPR certificate.
  • TME Certification desired.
  • Valid Driver's License and good driving record.

Physical Demands:

The work environment is an indoor/outdoor setting with a moderate to high noise level. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions of this job.
