Job Summary

As a Contracting Representative at Aramco Services Company, you will play a critical role in the procurement of contracts of higher than average value, complexity, and/or time-critical from the planning phase through final contract execution. This includes drafting, pre-qualification of contractors, competitive bidding or negotiation, and finalization, all in compliance with the Contracting Manual for Aramco Services Company.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop a contracting plan that identifies key milestones and actions needed to ensure completion by the target signing date.

• Determine the appropriate procurement method and develop the bid slate based on contractor qualifications, workload, and performance history.

• Draft proforma contract documents and Invitation for Proposals, and coordinate functional reviews with professional staff in Finance, Treasurer's, and Law.

• Ensure that assigned contract actions are developed in accordance with Contracting Manual and applicable laws, consistent with the policies and procedures of the Company, and that the contract represents the optimum business deal for the Company under existing conditions.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a closely related field.

• IACCM Practitioner Certification.

• Well-developed skills in planning and negotiating, with the ability to analyze various factors and make sound recommendations and decisions.

• Proficient with business software applications.

• At least eight (8) years of extensive professional experience in contract procurement activities or closely related functions, such as negotiator, engineer, business administrator, construction engineer, or attorney in commercial practice.

Working Environment

• Primarily office environment.

• Regularly required to stand, walk, and bend with good balance, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands and arms.

• Regularly required to sit, perform repetitive duties, use standard office equipment, and talk and hear.

• Close vision, distance vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus is needed.

• Occasionally required to lift, move, and carry up to 10 pounds.

• May climb ladders, catwalks, scaffolds, and temporary walkways to gain access.

• Travels approximately 1-5% of time outside of normal work locations in the US and occasionally internationally, in the course of contract development efforts, including prequalification of contractors and negotiation of contracts, amendments, and change orders.
