Job Summary:

As a Contracting Representative at Aramco Services Company, you will play a critical role in the procurement of contracts for higher-value, complex, and time-sensitive projects. Your expertise will be essential in guiding contract proponents through the planning phase, drafting, pre-qualification of contractors, competitive bidding, and finalization, all while ensuring compliance with the Contracting Manual for Aramco Services Company (ASC).

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop a contracting plan that identifies key milestones and actions needed to ensure timely completion.
• Determine the appropriate procurement method and develop a bid slate based on contractor qualifications, workload, and performance history.
• Assist in the development of a Contractor Selection Justification, ensuring it is based on business reasons consistent with the Company's Anti-Boycott Compliance Program.
• Draft proforma contract documents and Invitation for Proposals (IFPs), coordinating functional reviews with professional staff in Finance, Treasurer's, and Law.
• Resolve disputes during functional reviews and distribute IFPs to bidders.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Law, or a closely related field.
• IACCM Practitioner Certification.
• Well-developed skills in planning and negotiating, with the ability to analyze various factors and make sound recommendations and decisions.
• Proficient with business software applications.
• At least eight (8) years of extensive professional experience in contract procurement activities or closely related functions.

Work Environment:

Primarily an office environment, with occasional travel (1-5% of time) to the US and internationally for contract development efforts, including pre-qualification of contractors and negotiation of contracts, amendments, and change orders. Tours and inspections of project sites, vendor facilities, warehouses, and material yards may also be required.
