Job Overview

Inspire Dental is a private practice that offers comprehensive care to patients of all ages. We are seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to join our team.

The ideal candidate will assist the dentists in providing quality oral healthcare to patients while ensuring a comfortable, safe, and efficient experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare treatment rooms for treatment and examinations
  • Assist dentists during dental procedures
  • Take digital dental x-rays
  • Maintain patient records and treatment information
  • Sterilize dental instruments and equipment
  • Disinfect treatment rooms according to OSHA guidelines
  • Manage inventory of dental supplies

Qualifications:

  • A commitment to present on-time for business operations
  • Active NJ State Dental RDA License
  • Active CPR Certification
  • Knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
  • Experience in pediatric dentistry is a plus
  • Proficiency in using dental software; Open Dental is a plus
  • Strong understanding of infection control protocols
  • Ability to review treatment plans when needed
  • Knowledge of medical imaging techniques
  • Understanding of prosthodontics procedures (e.g. crown appointment setup)
