This is a REMOTE position. The Clinical Specialist - Charge Master will be responsible for building and maintaining an accurate and complete Charge-master to ensure appropriate submission, reimbursement and compliance as related to governmental billing regulations across any Mercy or Mercy maintained facility.

This position will work closely with multidisciplinary clinical and revenue teams at each facility to continue the standardization of the CDM as well as collaboration with the EPIC project team for new and ongoing implementations.

This position will perform duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with the Mercy mission, values and guiding principles.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain an accurate and complete Charge-master
  • Ensure compliance with governmental billing regulations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary clinical and revenue teams
  • Work with the EPIC project team for new and ongoing implementations

Requirements:

  • Significant experience in coding and CDM knowledge at an acute care hospital
  • Experience working with Fiscal Intermediary requirements
  • EPIC certification required within 2 years of hire date
