Job Overview

Position Objective: The primary responsibilities include proficiently managing multi-station wide web coating machinery in the production of pressure-sensitive adhesive materials.

Shift Details: 2nd Shift from 3:00 PM to 11:00 PM, with an additional shift premium.

  1. Complete setup processes by verifying the correct configuration of all coating stations, winding spindles, and any supplementary tools (such as perforation or other downstream operations). Provide assistance to colleagues with equipment preparation and setup as necessary.
  2. Ensure the machinery operates at designated speeds while upholding quality standards. Conduct product sampling according to established procedures to confirm quality. Maintain focus on tasks and minimize distractions to ensure completion of work. Accurately complete all necessary documentation, including press logs and other recording forms.
  3. Assist in the preparation of materials during machine operation, which includes primer coatings, silicone formulations, and adhesives, as well as the handling of raw materials and finished products as required.
  4. Maintain the machinery in optimal working condition, which includes regular maintenance and cleaning of any spills or debris.
  5. Actively foster a safe and cooperative work environment by adhering to all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and awareness of workplace hazards.
  6. Perform additional related tasks and overtime as needed.

Qualifications:

Experience: Previous experience in an industrial or manufacturing setting is preferred but not mandatory. Comprehensive training will be provided.

Key Responsibilities: While executing the duties of this position, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, use hands to manipulate objects, tools, or controls, reach with hands and arms, and communicate verbally. The employee frequently needs to climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Occasionally, the employee may be required to sit.

The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with assistance. Specific vision abilities include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

The employee must be capable of working in a team-oriented environment. Proficiency in English is required to read, comprehend, and execute written instructions. Flexibility in scheduling based on business needs is essential, along with the ability to undertake any other assigned duties.

The compensation range for this position is competitive and may vary based on factors such as education, skills, experience, proficiency, performance, shift, and location. In addition to the base salary, potential overtime and shift differentials may apply.
