Job Overview:


We are in search of a dedicated Culinary Operations Supervisor to join our dynamic team at Omni PGA Frisco Resort.

This role is essential in supporting the culinary operations across our diverse food and beverage outlets, which include a variety of dining experiences and event catering.


The Culinary Operations Supervisor will play a key role in overseeing the kitchen staff, ensuring high standards of food quality and safety, while fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.


Key Responsibilities:
1. Oversee daily culinary operations and food preparation in designated areas.

2. Implement hands-on training programs to develop kitchen personnel.

3. Promote and enforce safety and sanitation practices among all staff members.

4. Ensure consistency in food preparation by adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.

5. Conduct regular inspections of food quality and kitchen equipment to maintain compliance with health regulations.


6. Mentor staff on the importance of presentation and portion control, ensuring adherence to quality standards.


7. Facilitate effective communication between kitchen and service staff to enhance guest satisfaction.


Qualifications:


1. Minimum of 5 years of culinary experience in a hotel or restaurant setting, with at least 1 year in a supervisory role.

2. Proven ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining high culinary standards.

3. Strong knowledge of batch cooking and high-volume food preparation.

4. Excellent communication and organizational skills, with a focus on detail.

5. Basic math skills for recipe adherence and inventory management.

6. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

7. Culinary degree or formal training is preferred.

8. Food handlers certification is required.
