Job Description

The Senior Manager of Financial Operations is responsible for providing accurate financial information, analysis, and suggestions to support the company's financial targets. This role will oversee multiple production locations and serve as a backup for the Controller's duties related to the National Product Supply Group.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a team of accountants, including interviewing, hiring, and training associates.
  • Plan, assign, and direct work, ensuring financial controls are followed.
  • Prepare month-end financial close-out and monthly reconciliations, as well as create annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
  • Perform variance analysis to expected results and stand in as a liaison between the company and production facilities.
  • Provide financial analysis as needed and assist the Controller on special projects and analyses.
  • Act as a backup for the Controller on the National Product Supply Group and assist in the development and implementation of new systems and reporting capabilities.
Requirements:
  • Minimum age 18 years old.
  • Valid driver's license required and obligation to maintain compliance with company fleet policy.
  • Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by position and compliance with company safety policies.
  • Regular and prompt attendance is an essential function of the job.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English.
  • Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within company guidelines.
  • Ability to maintain safety and security of company assets.
  • Ability to utilize all company-provided resources and technology.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills.
  • Proven ability to coach and manage needs and concerns of multiple associates.
  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university in Accounting or Finance.
  • At least 7 years of related experience, including prior supervisory experience.
  • CPA License or ability to obtain CPA License within 3 years from date of hire.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required.
  • SAP or other large ERP system experience required.
  • SAP SAC, and Power BI experience preferred.
