Role Responsibilities

The position involves supporting the Head Start educational team in various capacities, including assisting with classroom activities, lesson planning, and maintaining a conducive learning environment. This role provides an excellent opportunity to gain foundational knowledge in early childhood education and serves as a stepping stone towards becoming a Head Start Teacher. Responsibilities may also extend to kitchen support, transportation, or other operational areas.

Applicants must be at least 18 years old. This is an entry-level role that does not require prior education or experience unless mandated by local or state regulations. A high school diploma or G.E.D. is preferred. Additional qualifications may be necessary for kitchen support duties (e.g., Safe Serve certification).

Work Schedule: Full-Time, 36 hours per week, 42 weeks per year
