Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as a liaison between students, families, and school staff to provide support and guidance in areas such as attendance, academics, behavior, and health.
  • Develop and implement individualized educational plans and strategies to meet the unique needs of students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and other support staff to identify and address student needs and concerns.
  • Provide crisis intervention and support to students and families in times of need.
  • Develop and maintain partnerships with community agencies to provide additional support services to students and families.
  • Transport students to various meetings and activities as needed.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as social work or education.
  • Two years of experience working with students or families in an educational or social service setting.
  • Strong analytical, computer, and oral and written communication skills.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to transport self and others to various locations.
Working Conditions

The physical demands of this job include regular sitting and standing, with occasional bending, kneeling, or crouching. The incumbent must be able to push, pull, lift, and carry up to 50 pounds on occasion.
