Key Responsibilities:

  • Support educators in various activities, including career exploration initiatives, assisting with homework, ensuring understanding and accuracy, and overseeing students during snack periods.
  • Work collaboratively with professional development teams, educators, and staff to generate and implement educational activities that enhance learning and stimulate student participation.
  • Monitor and supervise students throughout program hours, ensuring their safety and well-being while applying positive behavioral strategies as necessary.
  • Maintain regular communication with parents and guardians regarding student progress and address any concerns or issues that may arise.
  • Participate in staff meetings and engage in professional development opportunities as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; coursework in education or a related field is preferred.
  • Experience working with children or in educational settings is highly valued.
  • Strong understanding of various subjects and the ability to provide academic assistance.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Demonstrated patience, empathy, and the capacity to motivate and inspire students.
  • Strong organizational skills and meticulous attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
